Calverton Loop Path
Proposed Trails are under construction and not yet marked. We don't recommend for hiking without a guide!

Wednesdays are Trail Workdays.
Our main proposed trail will connect the Veterans Memorial Pedestrian Path in Calverton to a network of trails including the Paumanok Path.
Not ready for prime time, our trail needs approval before we can properly blaze, mark and maintain.
Many of the sections require some bushwhacking and it is easy to get lost.
Peconic Pathfinders offer guided hikes on Sundays at noon as we search for other trails in the area.
One of our meandering discovery hikes crossing existing non marked trails between RCM County Park and the Otis Pike State Park. We are working on a smaller version of this loop that will be fully within the RCM park and will start and finish at Calverton Ponds and connect to the Paumanok Path.
We frequently use the All Trails App to map our trails. Search Bob Beattie to find some of our guided hikes.
Calverton Ponds and Davis Cranberry Bogs
This trail is just east of the Calverton Loop and is partially on roads to connect the Calverton Ponds loop to the Davis Farm Cranberry Bogs. It is unmarked and requires some bushwhacking.
We are proposing to extend the trail north to connect it to the Veterans Memorial Path and to trails east.
Western connector to Paumanok Path and Brookhaven.
A very rough map of a possible connector trail going west from the Veterans Memorial park to connect to the Paumanok Path and Brookhaven.
This path could also connect east to the Paumanok Path and create a larger loop to the Calverton loop.
